The location in a nice quiet area was magnificent and there were the Christmas market and fairgrounds nearby. Moreover, it was 3 km from Galway's Latin Quarter. The restaurant was lovely for both dinner and breakfast, I tried excellent dishes.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

It was a THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE stay on a business trip, would recommend this place.

I enjoyed its good and unbeatable location!

The room was well-organised and good-sized with exceptionally comfortable beds and a hair dryer and a closet space etc.

The staff at this hotel were amazing, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The value for money was also great, with a good deal for accommodation and meals. the location, although slightly outside the main town, offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

The food was average and service in the restaurant seemed understaffed. The rooms were a bit dated and the shower lacked power.

The food in the restaurant was excellent both the breakfast and the dinner. It was very convenient for the Student Accommodation at Corrib Village where our son is staying. It meant that he could join us for dinner and walk back to the accommodation afterwards. It is also nice and convenient for the shopping centre but it feels as if it well out of the city.

The lifts are very dark and dismal.

Room they gave us was nothing like ones shown. Only one window with an opening which wouldn't open past a crack. Advertised air conditioning. It was blowing hot air even on off. Porter told us it was only for heat. Brought us a fan that had the front cage missing so had to be careful not to get fingers near it. It was 30 degrees outside. We were there in the heatwave. We were booked in for two nights but only stayed for one. Were fortunate enough to get booked in for an extra night at the hotel we were going to next so cost us for that. Didn't like the bar area or dining area much. Thought it was dark and dingy. Worst room we have ever stayed in.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The accommodation was clean and spacious, perfect for a solo traveler like me. The young man who took our breakfast order every morning was incredibly friendly and professional. The hotel staff were all very professional and attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, whether they are traveling alone or with family.

Visted this hotel as we were attending a friend's wedding. The bedrooms were lovely cosy & clean and the ensuite was super. Food was teriffic. Geat hotel, will definately return again....

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at The Westwood Hotel,Galway.On arrival in the hotel,we certainly got the impression that it was well kept.The staff were friendly and helpful.Our room was spotless.Breakfast was both hot and ample in quantity.Overall the hotel was quiet and peaceful.It was only while having Breakfast in the Dining Room that we realised that a large number of people had been staying there.Will definitely stay in this hotel again,whenever we are in the Galway area.

This place has everything you need, from comfy rooms to helpful staff that really know what they're doing. The restaurant here is quite modern and serves up good meals for both dinner and breakfast. 🍴

This venue boasts a stylish atmosphere, always friendly and helpful staff, and even offers late check-out, plus it's conveniently located just 1 km from Bushy Park.

Fantastic stay

We had a wonderful weekend away with our family. The staff were incredibly friendly, and they were more than happy to accommodate our needs. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and we enjoyed discovering the nearby attractions. We also loved the fact that the hotel had a restaurant on site with a wide range of food options to choose from, including some delicious local specialities. the complimentary breakfast was fantastic.

Although we overall had a great time at the hotel, we did experience a couple of small annoyances. the room we stayed in could have been a bit cleaner;

Very comfortable and staff very helpful - when I left my room I left behind some clothing and when I contacted the hotel staff they were very good and immediately checked out the situation and contacted me - I think this is excellent

Excellent staff - very professional and welcoming. Especially the woman on reception.

Some issues with bathroom; both taps had hot water - no cold water, shower head broken & bathroom smelt of urine. Location - walk into town okay but would have liked more information on taxis / buses

The location, good food, friendly staff, ample parking, comfortable room.
